Smiles are easier than Mirror Repair!

ALL RIGHT John..... Oo. Oo. :-laf
Go to post a thread again and follow this... ... If you want to make something bold first highlight it in blue like I told you then hit the "
B" up above and... . VWALA. . what ever you highlighted will be in bold. Same thing for "
I' which is italics or "
U" for underline. Just about everything requires you to highlight the text and then click on the action desired. If you don't want it bold later then just backspace/delete/erase the symbols from that text. Play with it and see.
Now you see the
B and
I and
U up above and all the rest of the stuff to the right? Take your mouse and just rool it over them symbols and stop... a little window below will tell you what that symbol is for. For example... roll your mouse over the "
B"and stop on top of it ... the window below it will say "bold". Works for all the "smiles" to.
When you click your mouse on it it will do the action ("bold" for example) on whatever you have highlighted beforehand. Now look at the "
B" again and follow the symbols to the right until you get to the last one in that row on the far right. That is the "quote" symbol. It looks kinda like a piece of paper with writing on it but very small.
The previous post I had told you how to
copy and
paste what you wanted to
quote into your post area... . but I forgot to tell you how to actually make the
quote. Well that
quote symbol does it. After you copied and pasted into your document you then highlight it all and when you click on the
Quote symbol it puts the
quote window around whatever is highlighted.
Here I will copy and paste (use the down arrows and up arrows to the right to find the post you want to copy). Or open a 2nd internet window with that thread in it. You must realize that what you copied in one window goes to the same clipboard on your computer, so you can paste whatever you copied in one internet window into the other internet window. This is what I copied and pasted from your post before using the "quote" symbol:
Thanks for the additional information. I'lll try it out sometime. As
for being easier than the mirror repair...
This is what it looks like after I highlight the above lines and then hit the "quote" symbol:

Play with it a bit, don't worry about hurting anything... after all. . its not your truck... Right!
Lesson # 2 in posting.
