Does anyone have one of these on their trucks? They look bulletproof. Much stronger than OE bar. I like the adjustability aspect of it. For guys that are running a "leveling Kit lift" this will push the axle back to center. #ad

Not too long ago I replaced the track bar in my truck with one from NAPA. They told me it has a lifetime warranty as long as I have the reciept to prove it . I think the cost was around 190. 00. Nice product, beefier than stock. Also, easy to replace.

Blackcloud, I replaced my track bar last fall. Got it from NAPA. Lifetime warranty. I replaced my front springs with 2" leveling springs awhile back , and now the front axle is 1/2" off center. This track bar would cure the problem. This setup is a lot more rigid than the OE bar. Polyurethane bushing on the axle mount. Dave Fritz put one on his truck and loves it. This is a much stronger & stable bar than the OEM one. It probably would make the truck handle & steer better #ad

Hemi, I just got off the phone with Dave at DT Products ( Real great to talk to, lots of info and knowlege) He told Me that the track bar that he makes runs $245. 00 for anything up to a 3" lift. It`s $50. 00 more for the one for a 4" lift. He said that in a real world situation that you could expect to have one last at least 2 or 3 years depending on your driveing conditions(ie- How much time you spend offroad verses time on the highway. ) A rebuild kit is only $40. 00. Sounds like a "Must have" to Me!! Well I hope that this is helpful info to you. This guy Dave sounds like he has his **** together if you know what I mean!! Keep On Truckin!

Only about 50 bucks more than the OE bar... . and much stronger. I doubt the bar would ever wear out from normal street driving.

I am going to search this weekend for other adjustable HD trackbars. This one will probably be the best available.

For trucks running on roads at stock height, the DT bar is overkill.

Lifted trucks need the adjustable length to center the front axle. Trucks that WILL BE USED OFFROAD will quickly kill the ball joint end of the OEM trackbar; the additional articulation capability of the rod end should eliminate this problem.

I carry the rebuild kit in case one end gets mangled on a trail but don't worry about the steel bar and bracket which would take considerable force to damage. A good spotter can prevent most mishaps.

The only criticism I have for the DT track bar is that I feel the lower link (axle end) bushings could be a bit more firm. The poly bushings on my bar deflect slightly under load, which induces a bit of bump steer that is most noticeable when crossing a road crown. I suppose some deflection is necessary to absorb shock.
