anybody experience a P2757? Have one lit on our 2011 5500. Truck runs fine and seems to shift well. It comes up as: P2757 TCC PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID CONTROL CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE

Thanks
Jim

Possible causes Dirty transmission fluid Faulty line pressure solenoid valve SLU Line pressure solenoid valve SLU harness is open or shorted Line pressure solenoid valve SLU circuit poor electrical connection Torque converter clutch Valve body is blocked What does this mean? Possible symptoms Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) P2757 Dodge Description The torque converter clutch solenoid valve is activated, with the gear in D4, by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) in response to signals sent from the vehicle speed and the Engine Control Module (ECM). Lock-up piston operation will then be controlled. When the torque converter clutch solenoid valve is activated, the torque converter lockup clutch will engage creating a 1 to 1 RPM ratio between the transmission input shaft and the rotational speed of the torque converter. Lock-up operation, however, is prohibited when A/T fluid temperature is too low. When the accelerator pedal is depressed (less than 2/8) in lock-up condition, the engine speed should not change abruptly. If there is a big jump in engine speed, there is no lock-up.

More likely electrical concern vs. trans problem. First check the big connector under the cab about where the drivers left foot would be. Pull it apart, clean it and check for terminal push out. Then check all other TCM connection between the TCM and trans.

Sounds good, will do. Only has around 50k miles on it. Where about is the TCM located?

My driver is reporting Trans made loud squealing noise, lost power getting on the highway so they started to pull off to shoulder and it made a loud clunk and the rig shut off. Tried starting-ran for a second then stalled. Trans codes are present. Hope it’s solenoids and not the TC.....

The code doesn’t correlate to the converter. And it wouldn’t kill the motor while starting to pull off the shoulder. You would need to be almost stopped.

PO700
U0121

Also present.

Kinda unverified as to when it stalled, and wether the screech was loud as it was described. Anyways it’s going to the mechanics, will post a follow up.

Welp........

Flywheel broken or did it come loose? What about the code for pressure control circuit? Did they find a problem or are the fixing the flywheel and putting it all back to verify then repair?

Torque converter swelled up and pushed the flywheel into the flexplate/bellhousing adapter. Converter is currently stuck on the transmission.
