DTT TC- need shop to install in Colo. Spgs.

Ok I'm doin it. I'm calling Bill K tomorrow and ordering a TC. Now just gotta find a shop to install it. Anyone had good results with any trans shops in the Colo. Spgs. area?

If I can't find a trustworthy shop I'll have to cave in and spend a day on the garage floor and do it my self. Maybe if I arrage for a masseuse afterward... .

I hear Academy Transmission is a very good shop.

Crack the piggy bank open and buy both the valve body and torque converter... very bad to run tc without vb...

yes , i don't think it will be wise to use one without the other , i'll guess you already have a modified VB ? if you don't i don't think you'll get one without the other , at least not from DTT ??????

Talk to DTT, you can't run their TC with anyone elses VB. I wouldn't recommend it either.

Thanks guys. I guess I should update my sig one of these days and add the TFOD kit, A-pillar gauges, TST #8, new trans lines, new fuel return line, 1Ton slave cyls , front reciever.

Guess I need to talk to Bill and see if my TFOD is ok with his TC. I installed the TFOD kit myself and still have all my notes and measurements.

Briand - There is only one shop in town that I have been told of that can actually install Bill's stuff... but we have a guy in our RMTDR group that can do it... . but he would have to jump in and say either yes or no. I'll send him an e-mail right now.

Ok, talked to Bill K. and the TC will work ok with the TFOD kit I allready have. Just have to do a couple of easy pressure tweaks.

I have some experience with DTT parts. I am going this Sunday to Jordan's for his install. I tweaked K_Arts VB to get it to shift properly.
