The efficiency of the TC is measured in different ways by different vendors. BD states their TC is 95% efficient however, the DTT 93% TC is actually quite a bit more efficient. In fact, Bill Kondolay tells me their steel stator TCs put 40% more power to the ground than ANY OTHER TC on the market. I have driven one of BD's "95%" TCs and believe me, there is a big efficiency difference between my 93% TC and their (lesser) counterpart. Nowell (HVAC) has a special DTT TC that is about 94. 5% efficient. Even with the kind of power he is putting to the road, the extreme efficiency of his TC tries to stall the engine (at idle).

The best thing to do would be to give Bill Kondolay of DTT a call on his tech. line at: (604) 504-4002 and discuss this and other issues you may have concerning TCs etc. You can also post your questions on the DTT website BB ( www.dieseltrans.com ).

i have a 93% in my ram #ad
(piers type grin), and we'll be installing one in toolmantimtaylor's ram this coming weekend , i have also been trying to get DTT to make a special one for "Mini Me" #ad

but i have to thank John , he paved the way for the 93% to be released to the general public , though bill did admit that he wanted to send me one last october but didn't think i'd like it . boy was he wrong .
 
The way I understood it was if your doing serious bombing and going all out, get 93% its alot more aggresive, but talking to bill he told me to get 91%, with my mods. So far i love it.
