I have grown very tired of the Slushbox lovers trying to see who has the bigger phallus.

I have a challenge.

I dare you can put more power to the ground than a SBC equipped (or even a stock clutched truck) with equal bombings.

BD, DTT, Dunrite et all you will GET YOUR BUTT STOMPED INTO THE DIRT!

OK, Cliff, you put up. Come to Pahrump next Saturday. Sickly has a clutch, but not SBC. Diesel Dynamics trucks have DTT trannies. I don't think Adam can make it, but he has a BD transmission. Bring it on

An auto in lock up is DIRECT DRIVE! You have to spend almost as much money on a manual transmission than an automatic to allow it to survive high horsepower.

Diesel Freak I will put my money on Lawrence's truck anyday. He has an automatic with a regular DTT set-up not even the new high hp set-up. But the results should be very interesting.



I find it funny that when a stick guy needs a clutch that it's no big deal there just doing what need to be done, but when an auto guy need to upgrade his system it's because the auto is a piece of junk, just doesn't make sense to me.



What brought this on did you get beat by an auto or something?

i've already admitted mine is for an old shiftless man--see my sig. i get all the manual shifting that i want to do with my left foot--again see my sig. it takes some GOOD stick play to keep up with a good auto on the dragstrip!

This could even be a stock ETC 5spd vs. stock ETC BD or DTT prepped auto dyno comparison.





But then again I know of one DTT equiped truck with DD3's and a TTPM that got beat ( or was within 3 HP) on the dyno by an ETH with ONLY DD2's

Guys in Vegas on the 15th there will be most of the big boys dynoing. We will see who puts down the most hp there. About putting the most hp to the ground I guess the stick guys have a different interpretation of that my view on it is who ever gets to the finish line first not who can dyno the highest. A dyno doesn't mount to a hill of beans once your on the road. But I think that you will be suprised what some of the auto's will be putting down on the dyno and the strip.

I will take that challenge, If a comparible stick can out do kat or Lawrence at the strip I would be extremely shocked. Let the fun begin.

uh oh the pressure is on. but if i'm going against lawerence i guess i'll need a p-pump to have the same mods. adam will be dynoing in ca the same day with his bd transmission.

so lets see:

weve got lawerence with a dtt transmission and owns diesel dynamics with a p-pump on his 24valve

weve got adam who is sponserd by bd with his 12valve

and then me? with my little ol eth this can't be good but i love a good challenge. talk about david and goliaths
