If you have the part to take a picture of it, why wont you send it back so you can get it dealt with. We are not going to send out another part without getting the old part back we have already done this once before. We did this as a courtsey last time with you , never again. It is stuff like this that makes it bad for everyone else that may be perfectly trustworthy. Vendors cannot simply go on trust anymore and that is unfortunate for everyone.

Get it dealt with or keep complaining it is up to you.

That seems like a reasonable request to me... .

I was told by Bill it was on the truck too long to be warranted so it would cost 75 dollars to get another drive hub. I was told yall would like to see the part because you had never had that happen. I was sent another hub the last time by the dealer i purchased the system from and was not told to send anything back. I do not appreciate being accused of trying to screw someone over. It is a shame that a vendor will tell someone something over the phone and then change what was told when posted about on a public site. Why sell a product with a warranty and tell someone the product has been installed too long to warranty the product? Or better yet change the warranty all together. Saying only the pump is covered for 5 years. When i bought the pump the warranty states "5-year warranty on the system other than the belt. "

Why take the time to send it back when i was told i would have to pay for another hub? I was not told to send it back to see if it would be warranted, if that had been the case i would have sent it that day. I was told yall would like to see it, not send it back to get another one.

As we said then and we say again, send it back so we can see it if you do not send it back we told you what the replacement cost was. You think this kind of thing intimidates us and it does not, our position has not changed . In one breath you say you would have sent it back right away same day if we told you to , yet you just said in the post above you dont have it . This is a joke right ? I am going racing for the weekend this is just plain idiotic.

It sounds like the communication problem (possibly initially caused by a 3rd party vendor) is close to being solved.

This thing is fixable if everyone stays civil.

Ahire, it sounds like all you have to do now is send the parts in. I dont know, maybe if you guys talk on the phone again you can work out a deposit so DTT can send some parts up front to minimize downtime?? Would be kind of cool to see you guyz work this one out and have a happy ending. .

The forums are not the place to hash out differences with vendors. AHire has given his side of the story and DTT has given theirs. You guys can take it off the boards to emails, phone calls, etc at this. Further hashing this out here isn't going to do anyone any good.
