Dump-bed + gooseneck hitch combo??

Three part question:
1. Has anyone converted an 8' bed into a dump-bed? If so, how did you like it? Work? Etc. .
2. Hidden or below-bed gooseneck hitch --- pros and cons?
3. Can these two items be combined? (LB dumb-bed with hidden gooseneck hitch)

Any and all thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Jeff,I haven't done it nor do I have a dump,but the way my gooseneck ball is attached it doesn't touch the bed at all. To use a dump with the hitch would only require something to cover the hole.

My flatbed does not dump but if it did, the ball would be not problem. I have a foot square trapdoor that folds over to access the ball. Course', I would have to lay something over the seams to haul fine material.
