They have injector problems, we have Lift Pump, and Space (4-door) problems.
All Dodge has to do is turn up the HP a LITTLE more (never enough ;D) put another gear in the Auto, make a freakin' BIGGER rear door, and let word of mouth get the word out...
Dodge never ceases to amaze me with how close it comes to making people happy, then just sits on it's bum, and says, "Well, Be happy with that" They know what we want, but decide not to do it?
My Dad's D-Max is in the shop right now with a bad injector at 66-67K on it. I'm going to assume it was a bad injector o-ring as the crankcase filled up with diesel fuel (Leaving the underside and tailgate of the truck a horrendous mess) ands he ran out of fuel (with a 1/4 tank) in less than 50 miles. He filled up with fuel, and drove another 100 miles home, (using 3/4 tank of fuel just to get here) it's supposed to be fixed today. Guess What GM replaced? (After driving 150 miles on a crankcase FULL of Diesel Fuel ONLY (no oil)
GM replaced, One Injector. We are at 66-67K, this truck will be run HARD (as always), I guess We will see how long it takes for a turbo or bearing to grenade when we are either grossing 27-35K or doing 85MPH on the highway.
BTW, The Allison is holding up just fine, and it feels really good to have 5 gears to pull with.
Just a rant. .
