anyone make performance injectors for the old 5cyl Mercedes TD's?

So. Cal. Diesel Prices

I think they buy it for the truck and we buy it for the engine. I actually like the looks too.

If dodge did not have the cummins I would not own one. The truck itself costs more to maintain than a ford would. Conversely the engine costs less to maintain so maybe its a wash.

Its a rougher ride but leaf springs make the front end less troublesome.

The thing I appreciate most about my dodge. No rattles. Next is the lack of glow plugs. Engine related electronic problems are very rare. My trannys seem to do well even with uprates. I sure hear about the trannys alot, from ford guys of course. If I had my druthers Id be driving a fummins w/ the nv5600 of course. I do like my dodges off road capabilities over any ford Ive owned or driven. It just rides better. Plus the frame is more rigid on the dodge. I hate looking back and my bed is pointed a different direction.

My complaints would be. The steering gets weird around 100k. Dodge and cummins not fixing the lift pumps to last at least 100k.

Im damn close to 100k on the odo and ive spent 180 dollars in non regular maintanence(excluding damage from a small accident). I had a lift pump go(warrantied). At the same time I had em throw in a new program for fuel mileage. Speaking of which I had my valves adjusted and with the program I got 20mpg for the first time in this truck. Woulda had 21 but I sped on the way back.
