Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Dyno day

So, there is a local, to idaho, club doing a dyno day Saturday am the 17th. I am going to run my 98 12v on the dyno, for the first time.



1998, 12V 5 spd, 354 gears. It is completely stock, with the exception of a number 11 plate in the stock position, and the AFC slid forward. Obviously I have gauges, but stock exhaust. I am very curious to see what numbers it puts down...

With the same basic truck, with the #11 plate full forward I turned 297/611. I'm guessing 250/550 in the stock position.

I was close, on the HP anyway. The good thing is a little movement forward will give you some more. Hang on, I see the BOMB bug coming:-laf

it already bit me.



When I tune the AFC will slide the plate full forward, also the exhaust needs opened up too. So, my HP curve was flat to 3000 rpm, but the torque drops sharply at 2300, I am also thinking of doing the 3k GSK.
