Yall seem to get along real nice over there. I would think things would get down and dirty between Cummins and Powerchokes on the same board. After seeing the numbers our Cummins put up in HP and Mileage I would think the informed Ford owner would jump ship. Why dont they? If they know how much power and mileage we get then why do they keep their Fords? I need to go over there and read some more; I need to understand WHY!

Okay one more question. How come there are so many Cummins Guys over there when it is Ford-Diesel site. They really dont seem to Dislike our Cummins; I really really really hate that powerchoke. It just seems kinda strange to me

Alot of guys over there carry much respect for the Cummins. I have witnessed a few posts saying the 12 valve with the P7100 is superior. All I know is that if Ford offered a Cummins in the 250s and 350s as well as the PSD, a boatload of em' would have the Cummins. go figure

Actually, when we got over the fact of the brand wars and name calling, the Ford guys aren't that bad you guys. They were alot of fun to hang out with {especially in Vegas}. One of them even filmed my smokey burnout and i'm hoping to post it here soon. As for the #'rs... 123HP stock {at just above sea level}... & 230 HP {at 2,500 Ft. }

jponder, I dont post on this side but as you can tell I'm a member.
The one thing that I do realize about the rammers and the PSDer are that we share a common interest We love our trucks.
Now for you info My best friend owns a 01 4x4 ETH,loaded, and she is my wife. And I'm sure she will be willing to run against you on a dyno or in the 1/4mile,and spank you real bad. Alot of my friends and our friends have a Dodges and we do not hate each other we all come from different back grounds but still have one thing in common we love our trucks and want the best for them.
So when you say you and this is a qoute.

Phycho;
That is so funny that I am bashing That POS Powerchoke and you come back with "Oh yeah well my wifes Cummins will beat Yours!". Next time I read one of your post i am going to make sure I dont have a mouthfull of coffee. Man what a mess. #ad

Okay i get what your saying about we come from different backgrounds. All my Family is Fords and when I first started dreaming about getting a real truck; I wanted a Old style F-250 or 350 SRW powerchoke because my Uncle had one and I liked it. So I started shopping and by the Grace of God I couldnt find one. The new ones were out of the question because of the way they look. So I dont blame you for being a Ford guy, because at one time I was a Ford Guy because I was in the Dark about that 5. 9.

My question is now that you have "seen the light". You have been around all those BA Cummins!! Right!! Now that you know the truth that the Cummins will eat that POS powerchoke alive. People wont even buy that powerchoke in the F-650s and up and it comes FREE! Knowing all this WHY WHY WHY do you still drive it!! I just dont understand.

Congrats on having a very intelligent wife!

Hey jponder, leave ole pysco and his stroke along. I used to feel the same way you do about Mopar muscle cars. I felt they were the best deal out there for the money. They were produced in limited numbers, had big hp engines and looked way cool. I could not see why anyone would not like them. The best part was that the prices for cars and parts were cheap because all of the Cheby guys disliked them so much. Then along in the early eighties, someone else figured they were a good deal too, then another and another. Before I knew it, Mopars were higher than all the rest. The collectors got into it and almost priced the cars and part out of my reach. So the moral of the story is this. I tell all of my Powersmoke buddies that they have the best truck going!I love them buying all those Fords. Hehe. It just leaves more of those CTD for me!Be careful what you wish for!LOL Mark

Man those are words of Wisdom. Once I had gotten Dieselfied I started to tell my Buddies then I realized, what would happen if evryone was dieselfied? Diesel Prices would go through the roof! You just opened my eyes to the fact that if all those Ford guys bought real diesel engines our Dodges would soar in price. I will try to be more mature in the Future. Its just so **** Hard to be Humble when you have a Cummins Diesel #ad

Let's ease up on the Fords, folks. What if we didn't have the Cummins? Don't laugh, the Germans could do that to us #ad
Would you rather have the PSD or the DM Chubby?

What if you really needed a crewcab?
The much bigger issue for all of us is getting together to fight the politicians and their lawmaking games. We can also have fun with our trucks and we share more in common than you might think.

I have invited the PSDs to MM-01 and I think an open mind will benefit us all. Many of the Fords ran very similar hp numbers to many of the Dodges last Saturday. If you leave out Sickly and HVAC, the Fords did as well and better in the hp game (so long as you let them use their barbeque tanks). #ad

Okay i can see if you really needed a crew cab or even getting a 1 ton with SRW would be cool. I was not saying that there would be no reason to have a Ford; I was saying that it must make the enlightened ones sick to know the truth. I have a different take on the HP numbers though.

Their best against our best: Our best spanks em bad while giving up 1. 4 liters of displacement and to add insult to injury, We can hook a tow bar to them and pullem home and get better mileage pulling them than they get ALONE!!!! Thats CRAZY!!!

That being said, "Cant we all just get along" #ad
