E-mail notification....

Greg - here is what's shown in the log files for your email:

That tells me that your ISP accepted your mail. Yours is probably sitting in a SPAM catcher account of some kind. Ask them about it - others have done so and found all of their TDR mail sitting in there. We have no control over what your ISP does with your mail, all we can do is send it.

Looks like the same thing - your ISP is accepting it and it's in their system somewhere.

The first notification I have received is the one from you this AM.

Could it be that the server change had something to do with it?

I'm not getting them either but I'm to the point I don't care. The only problem I see is that with my memory I will post several times to the same thread when I come in the front door and reread the same thread

I got my e-mail notification this morning from Steve once he replied to this thread... ... ..... not sure if that means it is fixed or what... ... I do not have roadrunner and have been having the problem... .....

Nope, I didn't do anything. Maybe they finally got around to going through the emails with the information they'd requested that I sent over 2 months ago . I sent it about 5 times over the 3 weeks following that.

I get a TDR mail, and I check my UCP, and I have about 3-4 other threads replied to that I didn't get notifications from.

Steve, as of the last couple days I don't get e-mail notification. I have also sent a couple PMs' but can't track them, and my sent box shows no sent messages. I checked my user options and that all looked correct



I do get a notification that I have a private message when I log on the TDR.



These items are not high on my list of important problems, just thought I would let you know.

On your email notifications your host is rejecting them saying that you are an unknown user. Here is the error message from the logs:

I put the ***** in the email address so people couldn't see your email address on this thread. I'd check with your host to see why it's rejecting you.



On the PM sent folder and message tracking we changed the default to not choose either of those options about a year ago. When you send a PM if you want a copy of it to go to your sent folder or want to track whether it's been read or not you need to manually check those boxes at the bottom of the screen when you send the PM. We did that because many users didn't know about the sent or message tracking folders and would fill up their mailbox and not know why.
