The rear brakes on my 2001 3500 started to
squeal when I stopped so the other day I took
the wheels off and checked em out. Thankfully
the drums come off without having to take the
axles out (GM 1 ton rears suck). Here are
some pics that I took while everything was
exposed. Might come in handy for some of you
that do a rear brake job and cannot figure
out the way things go back together agian.

The mileage as of these pics is about 21,000.

Turns out they were only glazed from getting
them wet launching the jetskis at the lake.
Still plenty of material left; I just lightly
sanded them.
