Mopars at the Strip this weekend in Las Vegas is the perfect opportunity for East and West to meet and find out what Rams have the power, and what Rams haven't. :D

An EAST COAST portable dyno is coming, from North Carolina.

What could be more fair? Hammer has encouraged all his buds to join in from the East and Midwest. Now that this western meet will be using a dyno from the east, everyone can feel comfortable.

I have always wanted to take a trip out that way buts it is too far for me and a really long way for those on the east coast. I'm sure all will have a good time. But I don't know if you will be able to get the big guys from the midwest to go that far when TiM promises to be bigger and better than ever.

This event was talked about over a month ago. I was trying to get there, really really really wanted to go! I even contacted them to find out if I could run in two classes, to which they said "no" due to so many participants.

It's a moot point, as my truck is, well, not on the street at this time.

*sigh*

I'm anxious to hear about how some of "our" trucks do, so if anyone races, please let us know!

The big guns of the midwest just had an opportunity in Indianapolis. Reports I read indicated that no one, even on nitrous, broke 600. High at Muncie last year was 608 if I recall. Maybe the big guns are waiting to come to Vegas :D I hope so, I want to see 1000 hp on the dyno this week ;)

Joe,

Those were street trucks.

No big dog trucks in attendance at the Indy Dyno day.

No Matt, Joe was right. It was only 608Hp at Muncie. With only 30 miles on the odometer after finishing it, I didn't have time to tune it in.

It has since done a little better... ;) :-laf ;)

The Western trucks that have been dyno'ing are just street trucks, too, Justin. Maybe you will get to see a Western race truck sometime soon.

Hope they drag race better than sled pull.

Gene, I think the west coast has proven they can drag race, and you ain't seen nothing yet.
