Yep Gene it was a fluke making a 7000lbs truck run a 11. 24 @ 120mph it's first year out on just diesel fuel. Of coarse the skeptic that you are, you are probably still not convinced that I did it on just diesel fuel. :p I wonder if a 10. 50 will convince you at Muncie. :--)

And I think just for you Gene I might hook up to the sled. :D

way out west talk is very cheap... .

I am so glad we have a West Coast authority (who received their degree from the East Coast) on talking cheap. I sleep so much better at night. :-{} ;)

It's because we use the Canadian exchange rate out here. :p

East Coast guys actually get a great deal when we talk to them... Consider yourselves lucky!

Oh, and I'll race anyone from any location, driving anything.

And here all along Joe I thought you didn't care... ... . .

Thanks Rhonda for reminding them I tried to get this out, but,it seemed someone only cared about slicing me and dicing me at the time and I decided I don't give a rats behind what they do out there. I'll say it again, its a shame when you try to get notice of what ANYONE is doing with these trucks into mainstream media and all guys want to do is question your motive. Sorry to hear your trucks down, hope its rolling soon.

MADDOG. .

While your truck is a stout one and the skeptics still wonder how your consistent passes at that weight are possible,I believe you will be even humbled in Muncie. The Midwest is notorious for bad air quality(Bad barometer, water vapor is always high and warm air) something you haven't run into yet out there. So 10. 50 in June,in Indiana,on a marginal track(this is not one of those concrete launching pads your used to),would impress anyone and should quiet the critics. I don't see it happening, but, what do I know.

Joe...

I guess if your in the mood for trash talking and smashing the "Midwesterners" on their dyno results about their being "HP

challenged" then we may as well jump in all the way and you admit defeat. Seems like the nations high HP truck is a Easterner at 886. Oh,but silly me,I forgot the rules,it wasn't done on your dyno in front of you so it doesn't count.

Go figure     ... . Andy

When are you going to grace James and Brandon with your presence??

Danelle/Brandon--the same could be said for some of us about going to other events instead of hangin' local---Maddog has been to Texas, Vegas, Idaho & SLC to name a few---I do believe he will be out here for a pull or two---maybe Clements or one of the other bigger ones--Sonora or ?????---it's hard to get away for these things --you know that as well as I---maybe we should go to something near him, I'll have to see when/where the closest pull is, but we could challenge him on the dyno also at Vegas--if we dare!!!!... ... ..... chris

Hi Chris,

Brandon doesn't dyno and Brandon also works alot for a living. But thanks for speakin on Maddog's behalf. . I just always notice him slammin the xtreme team. Seems he gets around fairly easy and we ALWAYS need more pullers out here in the Central Valley. Maybe you could talk to him and ask him to grace James and Brandon out here on the left coast??

It would be nice to see a round-up at the dyno during May Madness. Richard has found less boost on the dyno and most likely a loss of some hp--but he is still game and comes back to get apples to apples comparisons with others, same dyno, same time. Oo. Hammer, why don't you talk about YOUR results, since you stepped in to stir the pot! Maybe you need to buy an engine from your favorite midwest supplier :D And, for apples to apples, lets look at the 886 truck when on #2 fuel-- 674, right?

Apples to apples is what we did last year at May Madness: a class for single turbo with diesel only; a class for twin turbos, and a class for drugs. It is about what you are learning and the progress you are making.

Are any of you selling/slinging around agricultural fertilizers? :D We have more vendor space at May Madness. . .

D---Brandon needs to dyno and stop working as much:D:D

my point was that why should we expect him to come to us if we won't go to him equally--

the prob, as I see it, is you jabbed with the WEST coast is all talk and that statement is all to encompassing---this wasn't really a sled pull thread--it was a dyno and nothing more and now we are talking about sled pulling ---anyway Maddog jabbed back--nothing more---Brandon pushes the East--nothing wrong with that--his truck is pretty much an east truck(cept for the pump) and the East is good no doubt about it---but that doesn't mean the west is a slouch--although there's been things said that will baffle one sometimes----

remember it's all in fun--

now where's that sleddy guy --he needs to answer the west coast sled pull truck things we've asked--only one he's seen in real life is Jim Fuller's I believe--other than the vids---

Maddog is going to try and make a sled pull event or two, but it will be one of the bigger ones---we've talked about it--but so many dates are still up in the air----

chris

I was going to stay out of this. But Joe you started it, Yup 886 is the number period! Horsepower is Horsepower regardless of number of turbos, N20, etc. I just don't feel that limiting oneself to "diesel only" is the game, make HP the way you want and let others do the same. In the HP game he who has the most wins.

Thanks for refreshing my memory, Bob. :)

Now I remember him posting that he'll be 'gone' for a bit. All it took was a gentle slap upside the head and I remembered...

Please point out to me where I am always slammin the xtreme team. You threw the first jab on this one not me.

Don't worry the xtreme team will get a shot at taking down my truck, but don't think it's going to be easy. :D ;)
