Just a FYI...

The geographic center of the lower 48 states is in Lebanon, Kansas.

Perhaps a dyno showdown is in order at Forrest City Diesel in St. James, Mo. ??

Hmmmmm... .

Funny you should mention a thing like this. Seems Rammin On and I are in the beginning stages of a show like this for his shops grand opening sometime in Mid-Summer. As we get things all set and the details ironed out we will post them.

Joe. .

Funny thing, why worry about little old me,are you afraid that a couple of old used up drag racers may just sneak up on you and steal your thunder????. You actually amuse me,making it seem like this is all rocket science and no one but those in your area have the ability to make power. As for the fertilizer, well I am not sure what you would do with it in a area where nothing can grow but sandstorms, unless your in the mountains. Separate my competition classes for education, yeah right. I wonder how my dyno competitors would like that, they come for the chance to win their respective class, have fun and enjoy themselves. Education you say, well thats all learned thru watching each other try to knock off the previous years winners and taught throughout the show field by chatting with others. Your time is coming Joe,that you can put money on.

I agree with Drag Diesel also, there is ALOT more High HP rides not posting on any of the diesel boards. BUT,we were not making comment about them here. Horsepower is Horsepower, the way you make it does not matter. So with that Jetpilot's Slick Black Bottle Rocket is TOP DOG and nothing can dispute that.

JP Ol Buddy,

How the heck have you been?. I'll venture Waaayyyyyyy out on a limb and say that you NEVER get a answer from Joe as to why he was so afraid to dyno at Chapple's. He always says his truck is dynoed in its street trim at all times and he makes no changes to it so there would be no reason for his fear, but, what do I know. Also, this is the very same dyno they all claim the "White Dodge" ONLY made 407hp on.  .

Joe,one last thing... .

A couple old street racers I know who are very influential in the HP market place and forgotten more than I'll ever get a chance to learn taught me these little sayings. .

"Never lay all your cards on the table the first time as the pot will be fatter the second time around and carry much more respect"

And this one...

"In a HP contest, never go to a gun fight with a knife and always leave nothing to be disputed later. If it has to be broken to win, then let the parts hit the pavement"

I am sure glad that everyone is awake

I am also glad that by adding twin turbos and drugs some of you have gotten better numbers than poor old Sickly in his impaired configuration :D Has anyone else broken 600 with single turbo and diesel only, except for Diesel Dynamics' trucks?

Maybe some day you will see me get involved in a project truck with twins, etc. Not tying an arm behind my back, so to speak, and letting others sneak up on my poor old ride. After all, its only money  I'd hate for you to have no one to post about, like on this thread, hehe ;)

Mark never offered me any money to run on his dyno.

This U. S. of A. has had 50 states for quite a while, folks. The center of the country MUST take all 50 into account, particularly since residents of all 50 post here. That is how Piers found that somewhere in Oregon is the geographic center. Let's not insult the good members from Alaska and Hawaii by ignoring their statehood. Wanna meet in Oregon for a dyno showdown?

Hope y'all are having fun here. That is what we are supposed to be doing. No use getting upset on our own time. . . we have jobs to do that for us :)

So if Oregon is to be considered the geographical center of the country, then I guess Nevada is on the East coast then, huh? ;)

Nice, hard to unthrone somebody who pulled only once all year :) lets see, didn't Brandon brake an output shaft, and that was my first pull with the new motor in wich I threw a carrier bearing and blew the tappet cover gasket :( lots of carnage, but I guess you won :) you better give us a chance to kick your over valved, automatic A$$ :) just poking Chris :G

I know you're poking--I was poking Brandon--but I'm still the king when we all show up at this point--not sure that's saying much though---we are just underpowered west coast trucks---now where's that sleddy cat at---I think we should all just go to Muncie and hand him his pie-:D----chris

Please do so.

I don't want to threepeat.

The pressure of being a Muncie god is just too much.

In fact, I am trying to lose, I sold my big tires, injectors, cut D-valves, gave the Buddha pump back, etc.

3rd year on this set up, its getting tired. Last dyno run was 440hp, a few weeks ago. If I lose another 33 hp, I'll be down to the White Dodge range.

Come and get some.

I just might cry -- you getting down to the white dodge--how could you--have you no self esteem--don't answer---you might as well take up dynoing and racing!!!... ... ... ... . chris

Is someone in Hawaii seriously going to roll their truck onto a freighter or cargo plane just to bring it to Oregon to dyno? HA!

PS... According to Harvard University, the population center of the US in 1990 was just 10 miles NW of Steelville, MO. You can read about it here: http://gseweb.harvard.edu/~balanced_assessment/docs/t005.doc

Seems like Keith has the ideal place for the showdown. Too bad we'll never see it... .

John,

I agree we'll never see it.

But, we ALL know who has the most power out of a 5. 9 anyways.

And it aint Jetpilot or Joe Donelly.

Now Gene...

I DID not say that you were going to drive the truck after I pick it up next month. I DID ask Rob to wheel it so you could give him the win flag( I kinda feel sorry for him after you whipping him like your personal whipping boy). I wonder if Proram and I can get the motor freshened up fast enough to drive it to Vegas and allow "Sickly" to see that world Famous Tailgate graphic of yours and so Joe can see Easterners make power.

Power is Power,

What does it matter how or where its made.

The number stands at 886 by Jetpilot.

While he is a fellow member and a friend to us all he will be the first to tell you that his number only means that he will be the first guy knocked of the top of the pile by someone else. Sorry that your feelings are hurt because of your phobia's Joe,seems with thinking like that you'll be #3 and be chasing Doug and Maddog for a while, with a host of others nipping at your heels.

Hammer, I wouldn't waste what you built on the west coast, where there is no competition, just be sure its at Muncie.

I may not win, but I'll stuff Rob no matter what he's, "wheelin"

Sleddy just come out and say it--don't bring the truck out here where you'll get your piston handed to you---everyone knows Joe and Maddog are the ones to beat on straight diesel and we know you're not going to play with Doug--so yea best you keep her there, parked--:D----chris

Doug????

All I have ever seen him do, is spray green stuff on the walls, and wheel tires in and out of a hotel room.

Jetpilot= done nothing. washed up, has been, etc. :D Hes married agin anyway, have to wait for the next divorce for him to play with the truck.

Maddogs truck has not run for how long now? We may have seen the best it will ever be already.

Joe ?Funny, he didn't run on Chapples dyno, that is so very odd, indeed.

Bob said: "jeff prince should jump in here"

He's one of those guys/gals making a boatload of HP who doesn't say much of anything about it for us Internet freaks to read, drool over, and fight about. :)

Matt

yes indeed Mr. Prince is up there---you tend to forget about him cuz he's very quiet, but the things he's done on a race track with a 5spd is extremely impressive---chris
