Absolutely LOVED your post!!!!! :D Your right though, you

gotta love that "west coast correction factor!" The final

"numbers" from one Dynojet to the next (east, west, north

or south) vary way too much IMO!!

Russknh,Don't worry you didn't miss a whole lot!Just like last year over priced, everything was out of control, no one knows what is going on,changing of times for events without letting people in the events know. Next year I'm goin as a spectator for the day and that is it!

WOW

I've been off the site since the Indy dyno and man its getting hot in hear!

I put 601 rw the day before Indy but know one was around except John I. (Floorit), Adam H. (BigYellowIron) Paul A. (PaulA)and the dyno operators. So it really doesn't count..... right? lol:):)

I give everyone allot off credit in this motor sport. If someone makes more hp, pulls the sled farther, ETs are faster or your every day ride dust me on the street. So what, I respect you for knowing more, tunning better and just having a awesome ride (well except the dusting me on the street thing:)

Speaking of competition myself and a few other Showme guys are heading to Kentucky May 1st for a little sled pulling action. Hope to see everyone there.

Havn't had mine on a dyno since the turbo swap, but it clicked off a 7. 2 @100 in the 1/8 on our street legal night. :D But what do I know??? That can't be 600hp:rolleyes: 6750lbs:cool: #2 onlyOo.

Whaddayaknow? Maybe something from your Dad, magic dust, who knows? Even a sick old truck can make power with the right magic and a turbo that everyone knows is way too big :D

Yeah Joe,

Most would say that it's too big, but in this SPORT, size matters!

put 20,000 miles on the truck since the swap in december too, so no one can accuse me of not driving it!

If in fact you are 6750 and ran 100 in the 1/8th, that equates to 916. 7 wheel HP.

I have used this one for a few years now and it always seems to be pretty close. The Diesel's torque tend to throw off the 1/8 mile stuff more so from what I have seen. Here a few examples that I have done.

My truck - 6900 lbs at track scales - 454hp Dyno

78. 92mph 1/8 = 460. 6hp - 98. 7mph 1/4 = 450. 5

Jeff's Drag truck - 3885lbs at the track - 556hp Dyno

102mph 1/8 = 559 - 126mph 1/4 = 527

The Dakota = 4610 lbs at the track 465hp Dyno

90mph 1/8 = 456hp - 113mph 1/4 = 451. 7

I saw 7300 lbs and 120mph for Maddog - that equals 856hp.

I'd say either DD's truck is lighter than listed, or he punching big HP, or he really went fishing instead of racing.

Wonder what Fletcher's truck weights as he did 127 MPH..... bet it's close to legal weight of 5500.

Jim

5500 lbs @ 127 comes out to 765hp. Am I close? ;)
