Gateway TDR and GDOA meeting for September and October

Jim, thats cool, my only concern is a place to crash, as that is a LONG *** drive home that late and being I have been up since 6am... not good combo. I need a place for angie and I to crash, and for how cold its been at night, I know she wouldnt be up for sleeping in the tent. What ya think?

I just wanted to thank everyone that came out, this year was the best showing of diesels at our local pull ever. From coming from only 4 hooks just 2 years ago, to 22 hooks last night, I want to say thank you so much for making our third year with the diesels wonderful.

With the keg in the back of my truck a little food brought to us by our local Subway, I can say I had a blast.

I would also like to say congrats to Power House Diesel for their showing, nice job pulling, and very pleasant to talk with.

Well next year I hope things just as well... ... ... ... till then see you guys soon.

Later Jim.

I had a great time dispite my breakage! Great showing by all! Aron, Matt and the Power House crew did great. I think the Fat Kid and I are a little disappointed. I think we both had the same problem..... aggressive tires on a tacky track..... bad deal! Last year the track as I recall was soft and I spun all 6 at the end. This year there was no spinning, and a loud Bang! as well as the crowd "ugh!"

Josh

Well u 2 are not the only one breaking things at the track. Today we were watching tractor pulling and well, they were popping things left and right. I tell ya though the screaming jimmy's are cool, despite the foot and a half flame shooting out of the stack, it was all cool. Matt is so into it right now he is still at the track with my son Josh watching the tractor pulls, which is going to go right into the garden tractor pulls. I worked the booth and have had enough heat for one day. Sounds as if Matt may pull again tomorrow. So good luck to him. Later guys, and thanks again. Jim.

Guys,

It was a pleasure to finally meet all of you at the pull. I don't think I've never met such a good bunch of people. And thanks Jim for the great hospitality at your place.

You all gave me great advice on my truck.

I will look forward to hooking up with you guys again.

Brad

p. s. It's good to have bragging rights with my friends for a year. Especially when they all drive the other brands

Jim:

Huge thanks for putting on a great pull and your family's gracious hospitality. I had a blast - all weekend long! :) I loved the pulling action... especially the 'out of the field' classes and the Unlimited class with the HUGE articulated tractors. Josh had to practically drag me away (pun intended).

Now we just have to get the official results so we can sort out how the real numbers look.

I didn't make it to the pull yesterday... but I did pick up a bigger clevis for next time - whenever that will be.

Matt

so you like to watch tractor pulls now huh matt? i go to 2-3 per weekend (fri-sat-sun) its a blast but it gets old. i pit for 4 of the big smoker's. we run a 5000lb open, 7000lb open, and 2 ntpa super farm tractors. oh and the lil 5000lb guy has a dt360 in it. it only moves 750cc of fuel with a T08 charger. and will spin 7000RPM! scary little tractor.

The Fat Kid
