Mine tranns temp reads about 10deg hotter than the X-Mon, which makes no sense since the X-mon gets it from the factory senson t-tapped and the edge gets it from the OBDII.

FYI i borrowed a Smarty to night and made some 1/4 mile runs with many diff combos and smarty loads.

Overall it made about . 2-. 15 slower times and 3-4mph slower with the smarty or smarty Edge stack.

Today I ran a 14. 07 @ 97. 5 Mph on the Hot Juice. Smarty 14. 21 @ 94 MPH

Last year I ran a 13. 88 @99 with the hot unlock (in Nov about 25deg cooler air)

My trans is still in one piece, but it's definately not happy about all the additional power (especially with the Striker 2 stacked on the Juice). As you guys know, you can monitor converter slippage with the Attitude. Well, I can get the converter to slip so badly that the Attitude will display "N/A" because it thinks the converter is unlocked. It will do this even on level 3 with the Juice and anything over level 2 on the Striker 2. Part throttle, though, it shifts fine.

So far, my Attitude w/hot Juice has been flawless. It has not thrown any codes, even with the Striker 2 stack. Just butt-loads of power. Can't wait to get a built trans and converter!

From what I have read about the programming on the Dodge, the torque converter will unlock under high power. It is a stock safety net to keep the converter from slipping too much. I also see my TC unlock when I get on it at high speeds.

That's weird because the Attitude doesn't always read a high degree of converter slippage right before it reads "N/A". The converter still feels locked, it just flares engine RPM until vehicle speed catches up with the converter or I lift off the go-pedal (which is what I normally do to avoid frying something).

I'm not really sure how it all works. I don't think it unlocks it based on how much slippage there is. I think it is based on something more like throttle position or something like that. I have yet to see 10% or higher slippage on my Attitude, what about you?

I have seen as much as 30% if light throttle is used on the higher power settings. If heavy throttle is used in the high power settings the Attitude reads up to 10% and then right to "N/A". Like I said, though, it still feels like the converter is locked, it just slips badly enough to flare engine RPM.

Well hey, your 30% makes me feel a lot better about my 10%!

I had a valvebody from HTS installed. I am not sure if they help reduce slippage, but I can tell it shifts much more firmly. It was well worth it, at $400.
