No I haven't called them about it, but it hasn't really bothered me either..... just explaining what the guys were having problems with.
 
I'm wondering about my Edge Comp myself, I am running the unit with the attitude and have no problems with it (no drag yet) but I will look and see the version number sometime tomorrow but with the attitude unit, I have a screen that says Hot unlock key and takes you to a 4 digit number input, am i mistaken in the fact that I can just put in the correct key code and it will unlock this or would it be something more like, (need to send the unit itself to get the ungrade) and the attitude unlock screen is more or less to just open up the lv 6 on the menu screens?

Seems to be trouble only after the upgrade. Mine worked perfectly before also. Let us know how it works when you get it back.

I'd call them now & tell them that you don't want it back unless it was tested & passed.
 
Mine is going right back to them as soon as I get the RMA again. Here is our discussion via e-mail.

Interesting. The Ver # 8. 0 has been out since mid 04'. I personally owned an 01' Cummins and ran the Drag version for a year and had no issues. But maybe we need to look into it. What have all the others done on TDR ?



At any rate, please get all the info off the silver sticker, I just need that info to finish the RMA #.

Yes I am at the Same address.



It seems to happen when the unit is cold. I drove it yesterday and it came on with initial key on after it was warm in the cab But initial cold start had to double cycle the key. After I put it in the garage last night I went out and checked it after it was cold, I again had to cycle the key twice for it to come on. There are numerous people on TDR that are experiencing this exact same thing only after having the drag upgrade. And only with the vesion 8. 0. At what temp they are begining to have troubles I don't know,But it was 35 degrees inside the cab when I checked with an infrared temp gun last night. I have been told by Some at edge that they are unaware of this and some that say they are aware and working on the problem. I would like to know which it is? I am happy with the unit but would like to know if there is a definate fix for it. I will ship it back to see what your testing finds. If you can't find a problem I would like it replaced with a new unit with the drag upgrade.

I believe you called in this morning and talked to Misty. We need to test that unit on one of our trucks to verify the issue. We have not seen an issue in the past, especially with just a Drag up-grade. Please let me know, where you are only 2 days shipping from us, I need that module first. I can create a new RMA #, are you still at the address below ? Please advise.
