I just dynoed my rig last week and did several runs to get good numbers.

First pull was bare engine with no electronic devises at all to get a baseline of my sig. it did 330 hp and 635 tq

With drag comp on 5X5 I got 530. 80 hp and 954. 49 tq

With drag comp on 5X4 I got 530. 82 hp and 984. 3 tq.

So the drag added 200 hp and 350 tq over just stock electronics.

The interesting thing I confirmed from what I had read a few other times is that 5X4 is actually better than 5X5 as most tend to think. It gave same hp #'s but 30 more torque.

I did not do any runs with the smarty as I have read it would only make dyno graph look better at beginning but yield lower high end numbers.

HMmmm - that would have been a good theory to test while you were on the rollers.

Very nice numbers in any case...

here are my numbers, i had also heard about the better numbers on 5X4 thing too.

No Drag Comp DDIIIs, SPS62 = 370 @ 2650 / 748 @ 2200

5X4 DDIIIs, SPS62 = 450 @ 2900 / 846 @ 2650

5X5 DDIIIs, SPS62 = 534 @ 2850 / 1231 @ 2050

5X5/smarty DDIIIs, SPS62 = 498 @ 3150 / 992 @2500

What kind of dyno did you run on? Did you run it yourself or have dyno guy do it. Your numbers just don't look very consistant. I ran mine 6 times and even tried holding the brake one time to see if it would spool turbo sooner or different "It didn't"and all runs came in within 5 hp and the torque also was within 30 of each other. What hp are the DDIII"s rated at?

it was on a dynomite dyno and the dyno guy ran it. 100hp. the only thing i can think of with the comp on 5X4 is that the wierd sublevel thing i was experiencing after the drag comp upgrade. .

I set all sublevels to 5 except for when I went to 4 just to make sure it wouldn't be an issue as We all know of sublevel issues. Those are pretty good #'s for 100 hp injectors I need to get something better than the155 BD's I have, I think these are my hold back. Thinking of Mach 5's next.

I think them big tires helped your tq numbers look so good.

What are you running for an intake setup and what psi is your wastgate set at,also what where your egts during the runs?

Another thing to consider is that its my firm belief that not all Drag Comps are the same. I have had a couple different drag comp boxes on my truck and mine feels the strongest of the three. I have no idea what software it is, but I know that mine is older than at least one of the other boxes. I had sent mine in for an upgrade, it came back and felt worse than a regular comp so I sent it back and told them to fix it. It came back and was way bad.

I wonder if the less HP on 5x5 problem is only on a dyno. I know on the drag strip my best times come on 5x5, 5x4 produces a slower time. Maybe we just can not burn as much fuel on the dyno because we can't spool the turbo or turbos.

yea i thought it was wierd too. i just know when i sent the drag comp in for the upgrade the sublevel issue reared its ugly head and the cold weather thing and all, the only reason i have not worried about it is because this thing runs like a RAPED APE when on 5X5. i have a scotty II intake, stacks, and with the SPS 62/14 it was getting to about 1600. brought my engine temps up pretty good too. thats the hottest i have gotten it but they loaded the dyno and it would get pretty hot before the turbo would light and i just think it never had a chance to catch up.

Yeah I'd be curious what the m-5's would do. I have yet to dyno with my 4's but my installer said that he's seen a lot of dyno charts and don's injectors sure put the power down. He thought I should be around 530 or so. Man I need to dyno:{ . Not sure exactly what the smarty does on the rollers, but if anything just give top end. A full day on the dyno would be nice just to get some answers
