Just got back from Speedworks to see what my numbers I am putting out with a BHAF and Edge EZ. I didn't think they would be outstanding but wasn't impressed.

Dynojet

1st run - 1st Pin HP 255. 9 TQ 553. 8

2nd run - 3rd Pin HP 255. 8 TQ 552. 5

3rd run - 2nd Pin HP 256. 7 TQ 556. 2

Look as if I can put some BD II's or DD II's in my truck without a clutch upgrade.

OK so I just want more power I wouldn't live without my EZ but I do want more power.

I'd say you were pretty much right on target - by the time you add in 15% drivetrain losses, plus the fact that a Dynojet isn't really well setup for low RPM torquer vehicles, but more for rapid accellerating gassers...

Yeah - I know - we'd all really like to add on a few mods, and see the dyno go up in smoke at our overwhelming power... :p ;) :D

Your numbers are actually pretty darn good for a rig that is nearly new, shoot they are good for any rig with just an EZ.

Looks like your numbers are right on target to what Edge advertises. If you take your 235hp/460lb/ft and subtract the 20% drivetrain loss you gain roughly what they advertise:

235 - 20% = 188hp

460 - 20% = 368lb/ft

256 - 188 = 68hp GAIN

556 - 368 = 188lb/ft GAIN

Edge advertises 65hp and 185 lb/ft so you are right in the ballpark. I get my EZ tomorrow and hope for the same results.

Gotta remember......

The numbers DC quotes is flywheel, it doesn't take into account the drive train losses.

01 3500 A/T netted me 168 HP stock. The one run I did with EZ and DD2's gave me 258 HP. That was stock transmission. Haven't Dynoed since so I'm not sure where I stand with the transmission upgrades and new turbo.
