Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Edge EZ

I put an Edge EZ on my truck in 2001. As far as I know it still works like brand new. But, if it has been degrading over time, I would never notice.



What happens when they do go bad ? Does the truck just start running ? Or is the a degradation over time ? Since it is almost 12 years old, would there be any benefit in getting a new one with new electronics ?

Thanks, I think Ive read that on the tdr before. But if they go bad, is there any indication ? Truck stop running ? Or a REAL noticeable reduction in power ?

i had an Edge EZ go bad a few years ago. It went out in an instant. My truck had no boost at all! I was on a highway and I couldn't do 65mph.

I sent it in to Edge, they told me it was too old of a chip and that they couldn't fix it.
