Edge Juice with Attitude

Just got my Juice back from Edge. They re-flashed the program with the "HOT" version. The unit still displays the old levels 1 (stock) Thu 5 (Extreme). Is the old level 5 "Extreme" now the new "HOT" level?

There was a previous posting on the same topic you are asking about. I believe you are correct to say all of the settings are the same except level #5, which is the hot setting.

Is your Juice the new model that has a plug between the box and the harness?

I'm wondering because when I sent mine in for a reflash they sent me the new unit, I thought with the HOT unlock it went to 6 levels on the "new" and 5 on the "old". Correct me if I'm wrong, Thanks.

The unit I received back looks like the exact one I sent in.

The HOT unlock opens a new level 6. You should have 0-1-2-3-4-5-6. Look in the menu's for the Hot Unlock submenu. If it's still there, yours is not unlocked.

Keith, also, what I have heard, you have to pay an additional 100Bux to get it un-locked? yeah, all you have to do is call the # in utah and you'll be asked for method of payment and once it clears, you will be walked thru a series on entrys and you will have LvL6...

Yeah, they charge something for it. Never bought it myself, so I'm not sure.

For truck years 03 and I believe 04 the Juice needs to be sent back into edge for the hot reflash. The newer versions have a code that you enter to unlock. I had mine done and I still have 5 levels. I would be interested to know the power i have on each level now as they all seem to be more agressive/responsive.

For 03 and early 04 the hot version is as follows, #1 gets dropped and every other setting moves back one, the new #5 is 150hp, 300tq. That is from Edge when I had mine done. They used to do it free for TDR members.
