Edge Products A2

Anyone heard any info on the new Edge A2? I have had really good success with their products in the past and am looking to finally upgrade my 05 and leaning towards them again.



From what I have read I believe it works in conjuntion with the edge Juice modules? I assume this means that if you are starting from fresh you will have to not only purchase the A2 Module but also the the juice module as well???

We have had nothing but great responses from customers here at DPPI on the A2 so far. You are correct you will need a Juice module to make it operate etc. But hey you need that extra HP anyway!!

A buddy of mine stated that the A2 alone was going to be over $1,000. so you have to add the price of the edge box to that, is that correct ? and the only thing different between the current atitude and the A2 is the back up camera and GPS correct ?

I think so..... but the camera does not exsist yet. I called the other day and offered to ginney a box on my 06'. I think the camera will be readdy in the next 4 months but I'm not holding my breath. However, I am on the waiting list.

BBD, yes, they retail over $1000, and that is just for the A2, not including the Juice. It has the GPS as well as the standard Attitude functions, but will also display more than 4 units on the screen at once, has two virtual gauges and other features.

They are on Ebay for about 1100. 00 but again that does not include the juice. . Just the module...



Still it's nice. . I'm looking at my 05 and thinking it would be cool if I could move the radio where the AC controls are and move the AC controls down where the little cubby hole is. . You would have to alter or make a new face plate but how cool would that look mounted nicely in the dash.



Looking at the origanal face plate I think it would be possible to use it you may have to Dremel the wholes a little bit, but with some patients I think it would look real custom.

I wonder... . you spend the extra coin for the A2 and you get a better screen with GPS but what about the camera? Does the extra 1,000 bucks cover the camera as well or is that another 100 bucks?

well I'm no sure but first thought would be that if it did not come with the initial purchase. . well then it's going to cost extra.

The camera will be extra, when it comes out. Edge can now package the A2 with a Juice for a given price. Down the road, when the camera comes out, I'm sure they'll package a Juice/A2/camera as well.

JayWm, no, not really. Expect it to be close to what the combination of parts would sell for. I believe they originally said they were shooting for like $300 for the backup camera, but I don't know how close it will be to that for a finished product.
