Edge W/A, but thinking smarty????

I need some input. so, i have an Edge with Attitude, but i dont trust the trans temp sensor it uses (stock sensor seams to read high) so i was going to get a stand alone guage and sender. but if i do that, i might as well get boost and EGT as well (look better). so if i do that, should i just ditch the edge and go Smarty? i love the adjust on the fly power levels and the computer function. what are the pros of going smarty??

i have an 06 with 53k on it. I installed my gauges on the pillar in under 10k. so i have been watching temps for 40k miles. I just installed my edge juice with attitude this past week. I love it. All three of the guages are actually pretty close in readings. the boost is dead on with my analog reading from a boost bolt. the egt end up the same but it seems that the edge responds faster (probably because it is digital). The trans temp actually reads slightly lower than my analog. I have the probe on the cooler line out of the transmission. I dont know what is more accurate, but i would assume the edge box since it gets it from the ecm off the factory sensor.

Never played with a smarty so i am not going to speculate on it, but that is what i have seen with my juice compared to my analogs on the pillar.

I recently stacked my TST with a Smarty and I will not give up the adjustability on the fly, but if you dont like to smoke like a frt train then dont go above 3 on the smarty

I had a smarty 4. 4 on my truck a couple weeks ago at the track and it went about . 20 slower than the Hot juice... ... (slightly warmer track conditions)



I love the adjustability of the edge, plus i bought the whole A2 package with the camera and GPS.



The Smarty felt like it ran nice but smoked bad, much more than the Edge alone. It seemed to have more bottem end and less top end with the Edge compared to the Smarty. (I did not adjust it too much as far as rail press or torque man)



I will consider running both when I up grade the injectors and turbo.
