has anyone used the edge on a 1998,5. what kind of power advance can i get for real. i had a superchips programmer with no change on any of the levels,i have a boost gauge and pyro no change. with the superchips i also have an auto with 3. 54gears. also have 4inch exaust from heartthrob. also i am new to this spot

Take my advice man, leave your truck stock... ..... just kiddin, but this power stuff can get expensive, at least to a college kid it does. May I suggest www.tstproducts.com, i am sure there will be plenty others chime in. As far as Edge, they make great products as well, I guess it depends on what kind of edgebox you are refering to for power, the comp or EZ. One is rated for 60 HP (EZ) and one for 130 HP (Comp). Hope I have helped you out.

Peace,

Willie

Welcom to the TDR.

Beware of the BOMBing virus, it can be fatal to your credit.

The Edge EZ is probably the #1 first time BOMBers choice of performance mod. Works good for a while, then you find yourself wanting more and more. It helps if you take it off every now and then to remind you of what you started with.

Welcome aboard. Hold on to your wallet and study the discussion forums. Ask questions and make your decisions based on the information that we happily share with each other.

Sounds like you already have a good idea of what you want to do.

Remember though, when you add power, you can break things and should just plan on being your own warranty department. :D ;)

Welcome aboard. Doesnt everyone on this site have 500hp now?:p

My best advice is to read the forums about power, decide where you ultimately want to be, and start planning from there. You will waste alot of money upgrading over and over when you could have planned it right and done it once for alot cheaper. Good luck!
