EFI live for Cummins

How come people keep on poping freeze plugs.



That doesnt look good for cummins when a small lame part of the engine that been around for 100 years keeps on failing.

I think it is the high RPM with a high flow water pump, with a not so high flow t-stat.



That's my guess...



Why it doesn't do it on stock trucks probably has to do with #6 cylinder not flash heating the water around it.



I think the freeze plug problem was cured with clipping some water fins on the water pump.

im sure those guys are working on them but it's not any of the above, im not telling any way

well the ngm truck is up and running again, and i went back out for a brief test, on level 2 the truck smacked 50 psi and 1250 egt, and was at 100mph before i could blink, due to traffic i had to let out, i think the track is open wed so i may go down there to get some qr mile times. Oo.

Not argueing at all, but you can make serious power with 03's... I know of a few 03-04. 5's that are at the top of the sledpulling and racing list.

Not argueing at all, but you can make serious power with 03's... I know of a few 03-04. 5's that are at the top of the sledpulling and racing list.

Oh I know that there are alot of top guys with 03's its just the "poor me I have a 03 syndrome "



The 04. 5+ guys get all the cool parts and easy extra HP. We just have to spend more $$$ to get the same HP.



I just hope the the future EFI Live will give the same results to us 03-04 owners as it does to the 04. 5+ owners... unlike Smarty and Crazy Larry

Im getting WAY more than 120 out of the bully dog...



tst + bully dog = 660hp - stock 270 or so = 390... . You figure it out.

on a stock truck i only saw 103 hp on the dyno in the spring by adding the bullydog crazy larry program. i have the dyno sheets to prove that.



i went from 285 stock to 388 with the crazy larry installed.

Marco did say also that 03 SO trucks will gain more. In other words they will be put up to the level of the 03 HO...
