My buddy has the EFI live in his Duramax and its alot of work and NOT adjustable on the fly..... i hope that if this one comes to be for the cummins its not as much work and hassle as the one for the d-max!

Duramax have switch on the fly EFILive tunes. . look up DSP2 (2 tunes switchable on the fly) and they just announced DSP5 (5 tunes switchable on the fly)

For tune on the fly moates makes a special ECM for the LB7 that allows realtime tuning.

Shift on the fly is pretty nice when you have people driving your truck alot. Take 10 seconds, put it on stock, throw the controller under the seat.

I don't have a problem with loading kill settings on my truck because I can control it with my foot. But when the girlfriend drives she has a tendancy to put it to the floor no matter what setting it's on. Thats where the shift on the fly is nice :D

shoot me the details or fill in the blanks

I've received 2 responses in 4 weeks, and neither one helped me out. I will handle the problem myself, I don't need one line responses to information that I already am aware of. Doug Conrad was always very helpful with any question I had, we purchased the first MAD ECM from him, but now he stated that they do not deal with them anymore.

my wife wont even drive my truck for that reason, plus she has a tendency to kick it side ways :-laf

I hear ya... The other night after a football game I met up with some guys I went to school with. We were talkin... Then, my girlfriend jumps in the drivers seat, powerstalls, and roasts the tires off through the Dollar General parking lot in the MIDDLE of our small little town. Smart move  :D

Why is it that all girls can't figure out that you don't have to be WOT to move a vehicle?

Or wait till you get 20 feet from the stop sign before you decide to slam the brakes on  NOTHING makes me more furious than replacing brakes on a light little suv twice a year because she wears them out... . Ya gotta love em tho :D

my GF is an odd ball tho. She's the first to suggest that no females shouldn't drive. But she can actually drive, doesn't ware out brakes, understands traffic patterns and knows when her exit is coming, goes when the light is green, can fuel her own car. all that!

Given a car with more then 90RWHP, she would out drive most people :)

Let me guess... Your GF reads these posts... :D :-laf

man i learned a lot today, first the 3rd injection event on the 04. 5 and up is not a bad thing, in fact it is only a random event, happens once every few cycles, it is totally based on rpm, load, and some others, i now no why some have tryed to eliminate it, but have had some problems, i am learning a lot doing this testing, being in direct contact with the engineers we have come up with some really cool stuff, i now know why they make the big bucks... ... ... . :-laf
