egr unplugged

going to be taking a trip to montana later next month and thought about unplugging the egr. just not sure if i want to do it for the trip out there, maybe i will just try it on the way back.

anyone have any gauges( cts insight or scout II) that might be able to share some numbers that have changed since the mode?

Your EGT's will be roughly 150* cooler (atleast from my J35 flash that kepted my truck hovering around 800*). You will get half the regens and get a little better mileage. Since you have a 2007, you will need a certain flash update to not have any issues w/ unplugging. If you had the latest flash (J35), then your good to go.



I would unplug it now and drive around before your trip to give you piece of mind. If you decide you don't want to keep it unplugged, plug it back in.
