Search back posts. There was one where Piers posted and gave some good information about the drop in the turbo and temps based on the amount of boost you were getting. I found it. Hope this works.Originally posted by TrailBoss:
Hey guys I sure do appresiate all the come backs, and I now have another Qustion. . They mounted the sensor in the Exhaust pipe about 3 inches behind the turbo. . What is the max I can run this thing??
Thanks again. . Great Web site eh ?? Dick
Jason,I just sent my Banks gauge back, they sent me a new one,no question. It was reading 100°F when it was 0°outside. The Banks rep told me it should read the same as the outside temp when the truck is cooled all the way down. Just call and get a return number and they will take care of you. My old gauge was five years old, that's what I like about Banks, excellent warranty.Originally posted by Lil' Dog:
My Banks gauge is made by Isspro and rides around 200 at rest. The gauge specs in the manual said something about the accuracy falling off near the low end of the scale. I'm not too concerned.
