Tape over exhaust pipe tip,so i hear.Originally posted by NJTackle
How do you drill this without the fear of getting chips in the turbo? I guess you could remove the turbo, but that's a pain in the arse. Suggestions?
- maybe grease on drill and tap
- vacuum source
???
What have you guys done?

I hate to break it to you Clayton but where your probe is you're pretty much just reading Cylinder #6. Cylinders 4 and 5 are siamesed together then route down behind #6 and don't join it 'til after it turns downward, so most of the exhaust air from them will not pass by where your probe is.
I know the stock manifold is a POC and it's hard to tell where the exhaust routes on the last 3 cylinders. That's why I pitched it and put an ATS on. And it's how I know where the exhaust vents 'cause I looked at my stocker just before I posted this
