O. K. This has happened before and a tap with the toe on the underside of the E brake pedal turned the light off. But not this time, I have removed the contact switch the pedal touches when its released to see if there any adjustment but there is none. Is there any adjustment that can be done to the brake pedal assembly. Anyone else run into this problem?

Thanks

Dave

Two thoughts... One, you could try adjusting the park brake cable to give it a little more tension and fully pull the pedal up, but you said pulling it up with your toe didn't do it this time.

Second, that light comes on because of low brake fluid and/or loss of brake pressure at the proportioning valve. Maybe it's coming on because of one of those problems.
