Laptop logbook ?

Ford mechanic bought a new Dodge :)

I have a 40' dual tandem gooseneck flatbed. I'd like to enclose it somehow so that I could store stuff in the trailer. Right now it sits empty, but i'd like to box it up and store our wheelin rigs in it. Has any one put some sort of storage container on one. It would need to be pretty light wight because 40' container alone must weigh alot. Any ideas or links out there would be appreaciated.

Thanks

I would go with aluminum frame, welded with aluminum siding riveted to the studs. Should be built like an RV or Toy Hauler.

You may be able to find a used transport container with aluminum sides. They come in 20' and 40' lengths. Most are corrugated steel, but some had a steel bottom frame with wall and ceiling frames made of aluminum tube and sheeting. They are harder to find, but are quite a bit lighter. I used to refurbish containers like that for a mobile storage company. Biggest problem with the aluminum ones was water leaks.

Best place to start looking would be one of the container transfer companies in your nearest metro area. They could at least point you to a proper contact person.
