Anyone got a factory service manual can tell me what the torque spec is for the engine adaptor plate w/getrag transmission? It bolts to the rear of the engine, the starter bolts to it. My Cummins manuals only give flywheel to crank, clutch, bell, and transmission torque specs. Thanks.

My 92 FSM shows these for the Diesel engine:

Trans mount Mounting to Trans (Manual) 50 ft/lbs

Trans mount Through Bolt Mounting (Manual) 50 ft/lbs

Transmission mounting to engine 30 ft/lbs

Transmission to Clutch Housing Mounting 35 ft/lbs

Flywheel Housing - Adaptor 44 ft/lbs

Flywheel Bolts 101 ft/lbs

You'll have to sort out the terminology - I've got an auto. I've left the obvious automatic specs out of this listing.

Flywheel housing is it, 44ftlbs. I went home and reread the book. Found it, I guess I wasn't looking in the correct place at first. They are thick bolts, but only have a 15mm head.
