Just a couple of things I thought of which might rise up and cause small problems. The alternator mounting will be a little different depending on what you use and watch the turbo, there are a couple different mounting styles of manifolds used depending on truck setup. The truck one might be too high and cause hood or heater box interference. If there is anything I can research for you, please PM me and I will look it up at work. Just need engine serial number. Should be a fun project with great rewards, ain't too many of those around. Dieselnerd brings up a good point with the air compressor which reminds me if it has one to have you look closely at the front gear cover for cracks as the combined weight of the compressor and pump bothered on some Ford and Freightliner trucks as they were not braced well enough. If you find a Ford with the hydraulic style booster rather than vacuum you might save some work. You could use a blocker plate where the compressor goes and mount existing p/s pump elsewhere. Only other thing I can think of for now is the flywheel housing. It may not be correct for transmission that you want to use. All depends what it came out of. We have several bread trucks with 4BT/Turbo 400 combinations that I could use to get part numbers for flywheel and the housing for example. It is not that hard with the serial numbers from your engine and the engine that has the right equipment on it. Glad to help if you need it. Mike
