Engine missfire

I have a 05 5. 9 L which will stall and check engine light comes on; sounds like running on 4 cyl's. I have replaced wiring inside the valve covers, repleced connectors on outside of valve cover and problem still occurs. Has anyone had this problem before?:#@$%!

What code does it show? (cycle key on-off-on-off-on within 5 seconds)

I keep getting code 2149 every time it happens

The latest thing we are looking at is harness to ECM and checking ground connections

I didn't look up what that code means, but something I read in the past-
If there happens to be a failing (shorting) injector, I think the module that drives the injectors will shut down pairs or three's of injectors in a gang, as it protects itself. I'm pretty sure I read on here some months ago about a guy who was having similar issue, and it turned out to be a single injector shorting. So, that's something else to consider. Please do post back what you find.

Everytime that it occurs, we check injectors for problems, they all check out good.
