I've encountered a wierd problem after changing my rear brakes. After putting on the new brakes and setting the adjustment close, I did some hard stopping while rolling backward to get the self-adjusters to tighten the brakes up. The engine promtly dies when I do this. If I do a 10 mph roll and hit the brakes firmly, I can definitely notice a bog. If I stop harder than this, it will kill it quickly. I haven't noticed this in forward motion. I suspect a weak lift pump not being able to overcome the inertia of the fuel column in the supply line? If this is it, I think it's bad enough for a brief leanout on an abrupt start.
