Three factory lift pumps and I'm done. Now Dodge offers an in the tank pump. I do not like the idea of installing a pump in the tank. So I will be installing the Fass Platinum High-Pressure Pump and Single Filter from Geno's. Any of you guys have experience with this set-up? Please share your thoughts. Thanks, Ron

ps: How many gph does the original lift pump produce?

Not sure of the GPH of the OEM pumps, but I have had lots of success with running BOTH the OEM block pump, and the dealer in tank pump. 22-25psi idle, 17psi WOT no load. Longer survival rate as well - READ never had to replace either after both were installed on customers trucks.

Can't go wrong with a FASS either. Your money.

I too got sick of replacing OEM lift pumps even after having moved it to the frame near the tank. I upgraded to a FASS HPFP and have had great pressure ever since (2 years now). I purchased my FASS through Vulcan so I could get the upgraded biodiesel fuel line.

Good Luck

Ron

I am like Ron, same setup, except mine is a HPFP 95, also bought from Vulcan. I do not know if Ron did his but I put on the Vulcan Big Line Fuel Kit. I got tired of replacing punps, 5 of them. Haven't been sorry
