Since there appears to be soooo many variables in the auto vs stick dyno competition lets try this!!



An Injector and or Fueling box horsepower shootout!!



Use a 5-speed equiped truck since this would be done on a Dyno. Take someones poor little virgin ETC truck and throw all brands of injectors and fueling boxes on it.



Maybe some kind of quick plug in could be made on the solenoid wire so it would be easy to change fueling boxes out. A pull with stock injectors and different fueling boxes could be made. Then different injectors added and dynoed... . then tested with the different boxes. I am sure it would be alot of work. But its something we have all wanted to see for a long time .

A while back, I already offered here on the TDR to do an injector shootout on my truck just for the sake of measuring the power levels of each brand/stage of injector on the same truck. I even offered to shell out my own money for dyno time, but no injector vendors stepped up.



BTW, my injection pump wire was soldered on with a quick disconnect plug.
