Took off with the truck this morning, got about ten minuets out and I noticed the converter was unlocking and locking back up with no apparent reason. I kept driving and set the cruise. About a mile down the road the cruise kicked off by itself. So i figured the brake switch was the problem. After that I went to accelerate from a stop sign got into third and it all of a sudden went back to second then back to third and the tach was jumping around from 3500 to zero very erratically. So I guess that rules out the brake switch
. I figured it is the crank position sensor. Does it sound like that is the problem. If so were would be the best place to get a new one.
