Espar Heater

Did anyone (up north here) put an Espar on their truck? If so, how do you like it? Is there any warranty compatability issues?(i. e. Will it void the D/C warranty?) Just wondering.

I am up North way west and installed one on my 97. No warranty problems with my dealer. I removed it from the 97 and have not gotten around to installing it on the 2001 yet but will some day. Probably after I need it.



I never got to use it much the first winter, but when I did I liked it real well. Had one problem which croped up right away, ECM went on the fritz and I removed it and shipped it to the factory as no repair shop close to me. Fixed and returned, no problem.

Talk to Hemi Dart, he has one in his Ram, it is really nice, i would love to get one myself before winter.

Are there any proceedural changes when it comes time to change the coolant?
