I didn't know if I should post this here or where, but I had to say something.

Dude in a V8 Toyota Tundra manages to be a jerk three times while I was on my way back from trying to get some parts... first he manages to trip a stoplight that I've had to stop at EVERY time I've gone to this particular shop (you know the light -- the one into a parking lot that is deserted because all the shops have closed). Then he cuts me off as I'm getting into the left turn lane for the freeway.

Finally, after both lanes make the turn, and it starts to narrow to one lane, he jumps over and cuts off two cars to take off into traffic. I follow him, get past him, and stay on it. He never could get around me. Apparently he had it floored because he was staying about one car (truck?) length behind me all the way to 100 or so.

Then the way he jumped over two lanes at the last minute to take another freeway exit tells me he wasn't happy at all getting beat by a lowly diesel. #ad


Now... I definitely need more power because I want to be pulling AWAY from those guys, not just staying ahead of 'em. Hopefully I can order up some Bullydog 3's or DD3's in the near future.

Also noted that my SPA EGT guage showed a peak temp of 1232 deg. during that jaunt.

Tangled with a much lighter F-150 5. 4 last night on the 'ol HWY... that guy soiled his shorts when I mashed it in 6th and left him like he'd hit the brakes.

Raced an older, looked like about a '88, F150 last week. Don't know what kind of engine he had, but we went from a stoplight at the bottom of a 3% grade. I had 3K trailer and at GCVW of 11200 lbs. He was empty and not towing. He took off hard first and I did the same. Kept up with him with my front bumper even with his door. 4th gear lockup and I pulled ahead half a truck length. Had to back off because my EGT was at 1400 for about 3 seconds. I let him go after we hit 60. I can imagine what the race would have been like if I didn't have that trailer. I love this truck.
