I have a 2014 2500 Tradesman stock with an EVIC screen that’s locked on “Trip A.” I can’t get access to any of the other screens. In addition, the cruise control works only when it feels like it. There’s no CEL illuminated so no codes to give a clue as to what the problem may be. Anyone else on this site have or had a similar issue? If so, any suggestions as to how to remedy this.

Have you by chance tried placing your thumb where it can simultaneously press all four buttons at the same time?

The same thing happened on the company truck, the dealership ended up replacing the steering wheel buttons. Although I don't know how you could verify that's the issue aside from taking it in.

Thanks for the recommendations on fixing the EVIC. The fixes didn't seem to work. I don't have much confidence in the dealer's ability to troubleshoot electrical issues. It appears their remedies are to replace parts until the problem is corrected. At my expense of course.

Never go to the dealer for anything but warranty.
Find a good independent shop.
But, if all reset efforts failed, then a replacement cluster will probably be required.

If the trip meter that the screen is stuck on continues to accurately count mileage/hrs I doubt the instrument cluster is the problem.

This SHOULD be a problem the dealer can accurately diagnose with witech. At least around here it's getting harder to find independent shops that have the ability to work on modern vehicles, unless you find an Indy shop.
