Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I have a '96 Dodge 2500 Cummins auto/transmission, Sun Coast HD Torque converter with shift kit (firm shift works great) Also installed a BD exhaust brake and torque lock. Several weeks ago, travelling solo, I attempted to shift down from OD to third gear @ 40 MPH. This should disengage OD lockup and engage third gear lockup. transmission stayed in OD lockup and the OD light on the dash went out. Now, I must turn off exhaust brake, shift down and turn exhaust brake back on. I have contacted BD factory. They sent me a new torc-loc module. Did not solve problem. Dodge wants big bucks to solve problem. The system worked perfectly up to that point.
