I'm going to do mine myself also. mike
Mike, I am not sure why I got my brake within two days of ordering it. Perhaps Canada was allocated a specific number and the demand was low for them here. I know my wife was suspicious when I told her I ordered it because it wouldn't be here until March and then is shows up the same week.

I got a chance to play with it this morning. Usually the last few weeks, the engine temp gauge will hardly register idling. With the brake activated I had normal operating temperature 10 minutes later. So that is a real nice feature. I activated the brake on our snow covered street and found the back end starting to slide so I would not use it under slippery conditions.
The installation is straight forward but it is pretty well an all day project for those of us who don't do this sort of thing often. I double checked every step and triple checked a few such as the ECM wiring. Be careful with the gasket, it is very fragile and I may have to replace mine as I have a bit of a leak when it is activated. I will retorque the clamps after a few miles to see if I can eliminated the leak.
It is definitely worth the money and I find that it has retarding action almost down to idle. Of course the braking action is more pronounced at the higher RPMs. I would do it again and I am looking forward to towing with it.
