Ok, this file says 2013-2014(D2) ram trucks. What is the difference between D1 and D2?

So it appears as though all 13+ came with the ammonia sensor, it's a matter of wether or not TSB 18-088-15 was performed.
Copied from your link -
If ammonia sensor and module are not present, Service Bulletin (TSB) 18-088-15 was previously completed on this vehicle.

This time of the year I experience my truck throwing codes also. I was given a bottle of additive to try by a mechanic I know and to my surprise I have never thrown a code again I don't know if this will work for you but it is certainly worth a try the mechanic told me it makes the fuel burn hotter which eliminates much of the soot and so forth also keeping the sensors cleaner give it a try it's a cheap fix. Its called " Penray". Its available on amazon or some auto parts stores. Good luck!
Ok, for the last two weeks I’ve been having issues again with this message popping up. I’ve come to realize that I only have this issue when it gets cold out. From last spring when it warmed up to two weeks ago right before it cooled off, not once did this message show up. Now, when it’s around 20 degrees and colder, this message shows up every time I start the truck, and I mean every time. I start the truck in the morning and take off. Within a mile, the message comes on. I drive the truck to where I’m going and the regen completes at 70% before I get there. Or, I can drive the rest of the day without turning the truck off without any problems. I experimented with this for the last two weeks. When the regen completes, I immediately pulled over and shut the truck off. Start the truck up and the 100% full message comes on and goes thru the regen process again. The truck will do this over and over again. Any one have any ideas what’s going on?
I have a friend that is a parts/service director at a duel franchise dealer,Ford and Ram.All the techs prefer working on Fords because the warranty time paid is so much more(fair).I was fortunate my dealer had an excellent warranty administer that knew how to get techs paid as long as all the documentation was correct.Untill all dealers train all the staff how things should be done these sad stories will continue. The dealer I retired from has gone through 5 service managers since I left a year ago.So Sad.
