Any way to tell what the total mileage is on my 89 truck?

Got a single...need a dually.

ATS(Advanced Turbo Systems) told me they do not have an exhaust 3-piece manifold for pre 94 Dodge Cummins. I thought I read some posts awhile back about installing this manifold on our engines. Any info?

Geez, you'd think they would have better knowledge of the applications for their own parts  The ATS 12v manifold will fit all the 12v's, 89-98. I have one on my truck and it's working out quite well :D

Thanks for the reply-I thought it would fit. Did you install one because your manifold had already shrunk or as preventive maintenance so to speak. Any performance gains-spool up any faster? Advice on install?

I bought one from Piers, have not been home for three weeks so it is not installed yet. Bushwacker has one on his truck also. I'm going to see about having it coated before installing on my 93.

I got it mainly because my original manifold had shrunk quite a bit. The end bolts were bent up against the manifold and two of the gaskets had crept out. It did help a little bit with spoolup too. As for assembly, I put the center section in the oven at 450deg and the end sections in the freezer. Lots of anti-seize on the ball joints before assembly. Just a couple of taps onto a block of wood under it's own weight is all that was needed. To make sure it was flat, I put it on my table saw top and gave it a few whacks with a 2x4 to straighten it out. The length was slightly off after the preliminary assembly, so I took it out and gave it a couple more light taps and checked for flatness. Went on quite easily :D

Yes they fit just fine. The issues are getting the pieces assembled to the right length AND ports all flush.

The last complaint I have is the casting shape makes getting a couple of the allen cap screws tuff to get in and torqued up ... at least for me anyway.

ahhhh, a ball-end allen wrench works very well for getting to those screws :D :D
