My truck smokes like a steam locomotive. Just ask Bigsaint. But, even after not washing it for weeks, the rear wheel just gets a haze on it. In the photo above, my rear wheel was photographed just after my super smoky dyno runs, and the chrome is still shining. Sound-wise, the truck is no louder than it was before I moved it forward.

Allright - here's a silly question... How do you guys with the stacks keep water from filling the exhaust system? If it were to come a downpour, where does the water run out of?

Greg

BTW: The stacks in the last photo are bad-a$$ looking. I want some smokies on my RAM, and I want 'em NOW!

My stack has a curved tip so very little, if any, water can get in. For those running straight stacks, they should have a rain cap on it. I prefer a curved tip because rain caps can be a little noisy at idle flapping up and down.

A couple of 1/8" holes at the bottom of the elbows under the stacks works wonders. What doesn't drain, gets shot out.

Stacks would be awesome but I'm not sure my horses would appreciate it much. I think it's time for his & hers Dodge Cummins, one for work one for play.
Scott

Stack'd-n-Jack'd, how do you have your stacks set-up? The passenger side looks pretty straight forward, but the driver's side looks like you'd have to drop below the frame to make it to that side. Where did you split to dual exhaust? Where did you buy your stacks? Thanks, and BTW good lookin' truck #ad

Go across behind the transmission truss, then tuck it up and head back to the bed. Thank you for the compliment.

Chris T. , that pic. does not do justice to the true size of your exhaust. Let me tell y'all, the 6" on DieselB59's rig is real impressive, to say the least. When Chris backed his rig out of the A. W. D. shop on Sat. , all heads were turned. Great sound, not at all what I imagined a straight piped exhaust would sound like. I followed Chris all the way to Freehold for the dyno run, his exhaust is beyond #ad
. As for smoke, I especially enjoyed the DF you left on the guy in the van, that was wondering aimlessly between the shoulder and your lane. #ad

Yeah, it must be the angle that the pic was taken from that makes it kinda dwarf itself. You should've been with Mike and I today as we were running late and some dumb soccermom in an Explorer was talking on the phone doing 15 mph down the road. Mike gave the signal for full throttle and so it was. I looked back into the rearview and the dingbat was engulfed in a massive DF. About five seconds later the thing emerged from the cloud.
